Vicki-Anne Hoskin, owner of The Grove Studio in Cornwall, has been crowned the winner of E4’s The Big Blow Out.

Vicki-Anne Hoskin was one of 11 stylists who battled it out over eight weeks to compete in a series of challenging tasks testing their creativity and technical ability before putting their creations in front of judges, renowned session stylists Sam McKnight and Lisa Farrall.
Based at The Grove Studio in Cornwall, Vicki has been hairdressing since 2005 and is a specialist in all things colour whether it be creative vivid colour, lived in balayage, brunettes, blondes or colour corrective work, Vicki’s passion and creativity made her stand out amongst some tough competition and saw her crowned the overall winner in last night’s series finale.
Vicki shared her delight at winning the inaugural series: “The whole experience has been a rollercoaster, I only found out 3 days before filming started that I would be taking part, so it’s been a whirlwind. It’s been an incredible ride. I’m so happy to have been a part of something which celebrated our industry and the creativity and passion that goes into hairdressing. I am lucky enough to have met some amazing people and formed lifelong friendships. I’m excited to see what everyone does next.”
Judge Lisa Farrall commented: “It was a tough competition with 11 hugely talented stylists taking part, Vicki’s talent, creativity and passion for her craft really shone through all of her work. Each week she progressed and really pushed herself and her creative boundaries. It was great to be a part of Vicki’s journey and I can’t wait to see what she does next.”
