Keune UK has opened the doors to The House of Keune by Bloom, its flagship salon and training academy in Central London, marking a significant milestone in Keune Haircosmetics’ history during its centenary year.
The 5,700 square foot, state-of-the-art building features a 29 seat salon and training academy. There is also Comptoir Gourmand coffee shop and bakery, and is home to the Keune UK headquarters. Bloom Lifestyle takes on the salon operation, run by salon group owner Sheona Forrest who welcomes a brand new team including creative director, JR Slane.
Official launch event
At the official launch event on 17th October, Keune UK welcomed a host of industry press and guests to discover more about the brand’s product range, education plans, and to meet key figures with the business, including CEOs George and Eelco Keune, General Manager Darren Potter, UK Colour Ambassador Jo Mckay and UK Creative Ambassador Andrew Barton.
Guests enjoyed drinks, canapes and music as they perused the salon space. As part of the evening’s events, Andrew Barton and Jo Mckay curated a catwalk show with hair looks that demonstrated the breadth and quality of the Keune product portfolio. Andrew presented three models, showcasing a modern twist on classic styles from the last century, as a nod to Keune’s 100 year anniversary, whilst Jo Mckay present two models, showcasing the versatility and vibrancy of Keune colour.
In his welcome speech, Darren Potter said: “The launch of The House of Keune by Bloom is an incredibly exciting next step for us, and to open during Keune Haircosmetics’ 100-year anniversary, marks another significant milestone in our company’s history and our commitment to the professional hairdressing industry.
Flagship salon and academy
