Better Together at ECRU New York

Carmen DePasquale, CEO, and Founder of DePasquale Companies held his “Better Together” gathering to express appreciation for his “extended family”.

Better Together at ECRU New York is an initiative of Carmen DePasquale, CEO, and Founder of his eponymous DePasquale Companies. The event truly flaunts his Italian roots! DePasquale shares, “I have always believed that there is no better way to build relationships than by ‘breaking bread’.”

Carmen offers a heart-felt explanation, saying, “We are a family-owned business, and every team member is extended family to me. After everything we have all been through with Covid, I felt it was time to show everyone my appreciation for their sacrifices over the last few years. I wanted to do something to connect to everyone personally. So my wife Janice and I hosted everyone at our home. It was a day that proved we are all BETTER TOGETHER!”

Mark DePasquale, General Manager of ECRU New York shared, “We planned the celebration on a Monday and closed the entire company for the day. The party was brimming with food from around the globe and lots of fun…. we had a taco bar, sangria, a charcuterie board the size of Italy, NYC-style sliders. Of course, there was pasta and homemade pizza! For entertainment we had corn hole competitions, a mentalist, walk-around magicians, and music lots of music. Everyone left with a swag bag of beauty products and take-home containers of their favorite food of the day.”

Carmen concluded, “In business, it’s not always about money or title. It’s about showing gratitude and appreciation for each other. I believe that builds morale and makes us Better Together!”
