The 16 Semi-Finalists for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s F.A.M.E. Team took part in an intense day of judging, with the final eight being chosen.
Held at the WN Studios in East London, the 16 entrants presented their concepts, mood boards and models to a prestigious panel of judges which included Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year Errol Douglas MBE, Sally Brooks, Michelle Thompson, Jacqui McIntosh and Ellie Bond. The 15 finalists then went into teams to present a two-minute showcase with their models. The prize was a place in the final eight.
Errol Douglas, who was the F.A.M.E. Team in 1994, said: “The ideas, confidence and concepts the entrants presented were amazing. The talent on display was outstanding. All 16 finalists should be immensely proud of what they have achieved to get this far and whatever happens, should never give up.”
The new F.A.M.E. Team 2023 will be revealed at the Luncheon & Awards on 5 December at The Londoner in Leicester Square.
The eight finalists are:
Bartek Cass, Smiths Salon
Danielle Statham, Avant Garde Hair & Beauty Salon
