RUSK announces well-known educator Gina Bianca as New Color Director in continuous effort to better the Hair Industry.
Beauty Quest Group®-owned hair brand RUSK® announces the expansion of its education team with the addition of Gina Bianca in the role of the brand’s Director of RUSK Color. Alongside Global Artistic Director Matt Swinney, Bianca will assist the brand with their continued focus of providing hair professionals with education, business building techniques and ongoing introductions to new innovations.
Bianca boasts an impressive 13 years of experience in the industry, having spent time in the business as an employee, independent artist, salon owner (employees and booth renters) and as an educator traveling the country to share her insights widely. A 3-time Behind The Chair Award nominee and team member, Bianca’s expertise includes mastery across all color techniques, including color corrections; and she currently owns and operates a fully staffed 30 chair booth rental salon located in Connecticut, The Network Salon.
A well-known educator, Bianca has built a 7-figure salon and education business independently and is passionate about inspiring colleagues to grow professionally and personally. Through her experience, in which she transitioned from beauty school to working at a salon and eventually becoming a mentor to her own salon employees, Bianca found a passion for education, highlighting this aspect as the best part of her job.
“Today, it seems everybody is an educator; however, I believe that the educator experience I have simply cannot be bought or fast tracked. It came from a decade of experience in salon ownership, training my assistants from beauty school to six figures, learning how to run a business by trying new things, failing, taking risks, and, of course, working on thousands of guests behind the chair,” says Bianca. “My passion for education comes from sharing my experience, strength and hope to everyone in the industry. I strive to stay connected to my students by understanding where they are coming from and offering teachings that are based on what I’ve done, not what I read in a book somewhere.”
