Staff from all twelve salons at Rainbow Room International came together for a Day of Creativity at their Academy. This was in advance of the anticipated return of their Congress next year.
Rainbow Room International co-owners Alan and Linda Stewart began the Day of Creativity with a short speech. They discussed the effects of Covid and business in general. The Graduating Awards then took place, with awards presented to each stylist who had successfully completed their apprenticeships. Further awards went to stylists across all salons. Categories included Assistant of the Year, Social Image of the Year, Image of the Year, Group Image of the Year and Promotional Video of the Year.
Riccardo Corvi, Director of Ayr salon then took to the stage as the compère for the rest of the afternoon. Riccardo introduced each of the individual salons models they had arranged for the day. This allowed each team to demonstrate their own creative work and provide inspiration to stylists from within the salon group.
Lockdown Hero Award
After the break the Director’s took to the stage and presented a surprise award to Rainbow Room International Co-Owner, Linda Stewart. This was the Lockdown Hero Award, an award to recognise Linda’s incredible work for the company during the pandemic.
The Art Team, led by Rainbow Room International Artistic Director Suzie McGill then took to the stage, showcasing a variety of models with looks ranging from long, textured waves to short grungy cuts and volumised curls.
“It was fantastic to be able to get all of our teams back together again after so much time apart,” commented Linda. “The atmosphere was electric. Everyone had a fantastic time and left the day feeling inspired and with new knowledge to take back to the salon. It’s been a difficult couple of years but we have continue to grow and succeed as a team – at Rainbow Room International our strength is in our collective strengths and talent.”
