The F&M Hairdressing team has participated in a special donation cut; with proceeds to the incredible Little Princess Trust Charity. One of the salons younger clients, Hollie, decided to cut her hair and embrace a new style, whilst raising money for the charity, who give free wigs to children who require them, due to hair loss whilst also donating funds into childhood cancer research.
With super long hair after years of growing, Hollie decided to go for the chop and raise money for the Little Princess Trust charity in the meantime, visiting F&M Hairdressing to help her carry out the incredible gesture. Hollie had a total of 13 inches cut from her hair, with the team giving her a brand new, shorter look. In total Hollie raised an incredible £1,200 for the charity.
“Community is very close to our heart within F&M Hairdressing. Where possible we aim to get involved with everything we can to ensure we are supporting those around us. Of course we also support charities and charitable initiatives wherever we can. When Hollie visited the salon in order to donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust, we were very happy to help. It was such a wonderful thing to do and it was a real honour to be a part of.
“It really is an incredible charity, and knowing that this small, gesture can help a child who has sadly lost their hair during cancer treatment, really brings it home for us. To be part of something that can help make a difference is so heart warming. Hollie did incredibly well and we are all so proud of her – we hope she enjoys her new look!”
