Oz Izzet, heartbeat and founder of The Scissors of Oz, is launching a new wellbeing and community hub, The Sisters of Oz.
To celebrate the launch, Oz and The Sisters of Oz, which include Rachael Rose Beauty and Dannielle Fitzgerald from Cake Rebellion and Coffee Rebellion, brought the community together for an official launch party to introduce the space and the new businesses (Sisters!) working within the hub.
The space will see a number of businesses come together, including Oz Izzet, Owner of The Scissors of Oz; it will take care of all hair needs. Rachael Rose Beauty providing aesthetics and skin boosting treatments. Danielle Fitzgerald from Cake Rebellion and Coffee Rebellion serving up delicious coffees and cakes; Hermione Shaw, self-taught Nail Artist, Fine Artist and Owner of Fearsome Talons, creating original, tailor made designs for clients.
Inclusive yoga teacher, Hebe Richardson, will also be launching yoga sessions including mindful flow yoga in the space. The aim of the hub is to create a space that promotes wellbeing, self-love and self-care. It will also bring community businesses together to create a space that’s #madeinpeckhamforpeople .
The launch day was the 27th November 2021.
It allowed families to come into the space from 3pm-6pm and meet and greet the new team.
From 7pm-11pm the adults only party commenced. The first 50 guests received a goody bag with a free class pass to the yoga classes in the studio. They also received products from Davines, Boucleme.
The ultimate vibes came later when guests met with special guest resident DJ, Wbeeza.
Oz Izzet, Founder of The Scissors of Oz and The Sisters of Oz, commented: “The Sisters of Oz launch party was a huge success, we all had an incredible night and we can’t thank the community enough for coming along to support us and help celebrate with us. It’s scary launching your own business but with a collective this strong everything and anything is possible.”
