The power and awe of nature will be in full bloom this holiday season. Aveda announces its collaboration with global fashion brand 3.1 Phillip Lim for its 2021 Holiday Collection. This partnership celebrates two like minded brands bringing the botanical world of beauty to life through special edition hair accessories and also gift packaging created with sustainability at heart. Now available globally, each element of the Aveda x 3.1 Phillip Lim collection pulses with botanical-inspired graphics as well as vivid colours from nature for a joyous and unexpected expression of the holiday season.
Building on a longstanding partnership, Aveda is proud to collaborate with 3.1 Phillip Lim on this collection. It further celebrates their synergistic missions of caring for the world. The resulting Aveda x 3.1 Phillip Lim Holiday Collection reflects the transformative and purposeful spirit of giving, togetherness, as well as the inspiring magic of nature.

Accessories and Gift Packaging
With a passion for sustainability at the forefront of each brand’s mission, the functionality and materials used for the accessories and gift packaging were also a top priority. The teams worked closely on the elements selected, like organic cotton, recycled PET and FSC certified paper. These were both high quality and sustainable to further evoke thoughtful gifting this holiday season.

Striking Prints and Joyful Colours
The Aveda x 3 1 Phillip Lim collaboration includes four covetable, limited edition hair accessories; a hair towel wrap carrying bag, scrunchie trio, detangling comb, and wooden paddle brush as well as special edition gift packaging. They all feature striking prints combining the joyful colours of the holiday season with those found in the natural world.
The hair towel wrap carrying bag consists of 100 organic cotton. It is designed to remove moisture from the hair after washing, helping to decrease dry time. The scrunchies are in 100 recycled PET and feature a luxe satin finish. This is easy on the hair, and make for fashionable wrist accessories when not in use. The wide tooth detangling comb is in up to 95 post consumer recycled polypropylene; the wooden paddle brush which is designed for both self care scalp treatments and detangling, features a 90 post consumer recycled fibre carton. Furthermore, the gift boxes and sleeves in come in FSC certified, 100 recycled paper.
The artwork that on the limited edition hair accessories and gift boxes is the work of botanical artist, Sophie Parker. Her hand painted works use fresh cut botanicals as a natural canvas.
