With a new season, comes new ways to style, colour and cut the hair. As we leave the not-so-sunny summer behind and head into the autumn months, there are three key trend revivals, according to Sam Ashcroft from Brooks & Brooks, London.
“Generally, the hair looks we’ve seen for this coming season have been all the more serene, loose and relaxed, which means we can make an interpretation of them straight into our beauty schedules,” explains Sam. “It’s something Victoria Beckham addressed at her show; “it’s worn but still done.” The hair trend revival was inspired by the early 90s; heavy, natural and with a bit of a bend in it.”
Mullett and Shag-Like Haircuts are still powering through from SS21. Ella Emhoff’s haircut is undoubtedly one of the haircuts of the moment.
Copper Waves – was it Bridgerton? Was it Queens Gambit or Gigi Hadid? This timeless autumnal trend is powering through with soft blush peaches, to fiery reds. We are especially loving Gigi and Florence Welsh.
Chic Way to Do Grey – the revival of Sex & The City will of course bring some mega (and micro) trends through the hair, beauty and fashion industry. More notably is the pearly grey roots Sarah Jessica Parker is showing through her sandy balayage and all-over grey Cynthia Nixon has. Both women look sensational and they are using the grey as a feature not as a cover up.
