OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna

The hair sector is preparing to face the challenges of the future. And it does so starting from Bologna, where OnBeauty by Cosmoprof is scheduled from 9 to 13 September.

In September, Bologna will return to welcome the cosmetic industry for a first step towards the return to normal business relations. All sectors will be present at OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna to present news and innovation suited to the needs of today’s consumer. With commercial activities expected to resume globally in 2022, to date, there are already 14 countries represented by exhibitors: Croatia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Pakistan, Poland, United Kingdom, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Spain, United States of America, Switzerland and Ukraine.


OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will take place as an exhibition format. Entrances and exhibition areas will be divided into supply chain, retail and major distribution/large consumption on the one hand and professional product on the other. This is to optimise business synergy within each segment. All will take place in compliance with the safety regulations provided and following national protocol.

Supply chain leaders will be present on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 September. On the same days brands most involved in the multichannel transformation of the market, the online/offline mix, and the most innovative consumer communication solutions will represent the retail sector. From Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 September, green & organic cosmetics will be the protagonists in halls 25 and 26. This will be in collaboration with SANA, the international exhibition of organic and natural products. The collaboration with SANA will also be with COSMOFARMA EXHIBITION; the leading event in the field of Health Care, Beauty Care and services related to the pharmaceutical world.

The days dedicated to the professional channel will be from Saturday 11 to Monday 13 September. On those dates, the best companies for professional beauty, spa and nail products and services will exhibit in hall 21. In hall 22 there will be exhibitors from the hairdressing and equipment salon sector.

The haircare sector managed to withstand the economic impact of the emergency. This has also been thanks to the ability of businesses to adapt to consumer needs through diverse distribution channels. Studies by the NPD Group market analysis agency have shown that sales of hair products have benefited greatly from e-commerce and large-scale distribution; the two most active channels during the Covid19 pandemic. The professional channel, on the other hand, has suffered due to the prolonged closure of salons.

At OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, companies and hairdressers will join forces to find common solutions; ones which can also respond to market demands: sustainability, effectiveness, professionalism and proposals in line with the latest trends. On Sunday 12 and Monday 13 the brands and hairstylists most interested in the evolution of the sector will be able to present their proposals in the One Shot By On Hair look & learn sessions, with workshops also dedicated to salon operators. Among the confirmed companies, Alfaparf, Davines, Framesi, Hair Company Professional, Hipertin and also Xenon Group.


Entrepreneurs and operators in the sector are ready to respond to the needs of the market with innovation, quality and professionalism.
