Good Salon Guide are excited to unveil their Creative Excellence Award which recognises the best hairdressing creativity among their members.
The Creative Excellence Award will go to members who have produced stand out and high-quality creative work. It will also go to those working on fashion shoots or as a session stylist.
Gareth Penn, Managing Director, said: “We have always showcased and championed the incredible creative talent of our members. We have been proud to offer a platform for such work; now it is time to officially recognise that talent through the Creative Excellence award.”
The first Good Salon Guide member to receive the award is Ashley Gamble of Ashley Gamble Hair (above). Ashley has also consistently produced stunning collections that have graced the pages of many magazines. His reputation as a session stylist is legendary.
Recognising Ashley’s talent was a brilliant way to launch the award. Both Ashley and his team, really appreciate the new accolade. He said: “To receive the award is a real privilege. This award also embodies everything that we do in-salon, from great colours to extensions and styling.
“We have such a passionate team at Ashley Gamble and we cannot wait for our fabulous clients to see this award.”

Certificates will also be presented to all member salons who achieve the Creative Excellence award and, at the end of the year, an independent panel of judges will choose one salon who holds the award to receive a special outstanding creative achievement trophy.
