Distinguished in his role as OMC World President since 1998, Salvatore Fodera has decided to step down from the President position to prepare the future of OMC with his two dynamic sons Gianni as the newly elected OMC World President and Vincent as the OMC & OMC Hairworld Marketing Director.
An extremely successful and prominent entrepreneur, founder of multiple brands including OMC & OMC Hairworld, OMC Prestige Club and the GVS3 management company, Salvatore Fodera created and developed all that OMC & OMC Hairworld represents today in our profession and continues to be the heart-beat of OMC Global family.
As an inspired leader and an unrivalled authority in the industry and across the highly important competition field, Salvatore Fodera’s passion for his work is indisputable. His innate dedication to excellence is what has passionately driven him forward when others would have given up. He has already established a legacy in the world of hair & beauty by bringing out the very best in those around him, and in the national organizations that reported to him, with ground-breaking results. His sharp intuitive thinking, persistence and core values have led him to open highways to success for the industry worldwide. Salvatore will continue to assist his sons in his role as Chairman & CEO at the OMC & OMC Hairworld.
According to OMC elections rules, OMC sent the nomination candidacy proxy forms to all OMC affiliated member country Presidents. For the OMC Zone Vice-President positions, the proxy was voted by each of the concerned zone official delegates. For the OMC World President position, the proxy was voted by all OMC member countries official delegates. Announcement of the elected positions was made by electronic mail by the OMC World President.
“Great leaders always prepare a succession plan for the continuation of their organization. OMC received only one new candidate for the OMC World President position, that being my son Gianni Fodera. For this reason, I have taken the bold initiative of stepping down from my position as OMC World President, of the not-for-profit French organization. Gianni being the only candidate automatically is the newly elected OMC World President,” announced Salvatore Fodera. “Gianni Fodera is the perfect person to follow my footsteps to guarantee a long-term continuity for OMC. I am positive that the entire membership will join me in congratulating Gianni Fodera in his newly elected position as the OMC World President.“
“As to myself having built the two entities to where there are today, on behalf of the OMC Board of Directors, I will continue in the position of Chairman / CEO of OMC Hairworld Inc. to support Gianni in his position as OMC World President,” explained Salvatore Fodera.
