Glam Pop by Mahogany is inspired by the famous British designer Tommy Nutter and by the photographer Esther Friedman.
Tommy’s clients were rock legends, like Mick & Bianca Jagger and the Beatles, to name just a few. His creative ability was to combine traditional tailoring with innovative and glamorous designs.
Esther Friedman’s fame grew in the mid-1970s when she became Iggy Pop’s girlfriend. The Mahogany team inspired his haircut, an expression of her individuality, spiced up with a touch of malice.
