Supreme Creativity! Pravana’s 10th Annual #ShowUsYourArtistry Awards in Los Angeles

When Pravana throws an event, you better believe it’s going to be just as bright and bold as the colors they make.

So, forget about the old red carpets! Pravana lifted the color bar, once again, as attendees of the “Show Us Your Artistry” Contest and Awards entered the venue through a cascade of neon lights, a brilliant way to set the tone for the evening’s awards.

Preparing for months, contestants were able to enter their work in categories like Vivids, Chroma Silk, and Lightening. Entries from hopeful hairdressers all over the world flooded in. As finalists were announced, participants were invited to the 10th Anniversary Pravana Show Us Your Artistry Awards in Culver City, CA. With interactive photo booths, a gigantic coloring book wall, a claw-machine filled with Pravana goodies, and even custom cocktails, every detail perfectly demonstrating Pravana’s very own artistry.

Meet All the Winners in our Gallery Below!

While not all finalists and winners were able to be there, awards were accepted on behalf of Consuelo Rincon-Diaz, voted “Fan Favorite”, and Sara Jane Maples won the “Lightening” competition with her dramatic blondes. Winner of the Video Award, Amanda Stone, demonstrated beautiful color work, superior hair care, and some impressive video skills. Accepting the Star Student Award, Aubrey Petty beamed with pride as she represented the future artists of Pravana. Recognized and awarded as Pravana Brand Specialist of the Year was Stephanie Sheeran. Taking the trophy in the Vivids competition was Erica Keelen and the Chroma Silk category winner was Melody Larisa.

Special recognition was also given to some very special educators. George Blanco was named Artistic Educator. “Growing up, I never thought I was enough, and I never thought I’d amount to anything, but thanks to Pravana, I am someone”, Blanco expresses his deep gratitude towards Pravana. Another honor was presented to Educator of the Year, Jordan Carnegie, who joyfully says “…the culture of Pravana has ignited my spark again for this industry”.

And going home with the Grand Prize, which includes a professional photo shoot, and brand sponsorships from Framar and several others, Kelsey Pebler was the star of the evening. Pebler’s edgy collection reflects the culture of Pravana beautifully, while demonstrating superior artistry. Congratulations to all the contestants and winners!

This annual competition is the perfect way to get inspired, get involved, and get noticed! So be #pravanaproud and #showusyourartistry next year!
