In the heart of West Hollywood, blocks away from some of the most notable streets of Los Angeles, is where you can find Honey Hair Lab (@honeyhairlab) created by one of the beauty industry’s most influential artists, Rebecca Taylor @rebeccataylorhair
Taylor’s modern, yet charming, space was just what she was looking for and only blocks away from her own home. Boyfriend, Chris Garcia stated they were “lucky to find it”. Garcia also mentioned how they quickly flipped the space into the salon in just three short months. Redoing everything from the floors to some accent mirrors above the shampoo area, plus adding a photo wall with multiple colored backdrops to choose from and two different style ring lights, every detail had been clearly thought out.
Taylor’s lively grand opening soirée welcomed guests to entertainment, prizes, swag bags provided by Redken, Sexyhair & Minerva Beauty and even tarot card readings! Yes, you read that right! Catered with fun appetizers, like the mini chicken and waffles sandwich bites, which I personally couldn’t get enough of, to the house-named cocktails like ‘The Bee’s Knees’ that certainly held up to its name!
There was plenty of laughter and dancing to accompany tunes provided by LA local @djnickyboi and a sea of arms up for those quick selfies to document the night, every corner is the perfect place for photo ops! Even the bathroom, which is bright bubble gum pink!
Attending the evening’s event were some fellow industry friends like Alfredo Lewis (@alfredo_lewis) and some of her Redken family like Spencer Henry (@spencerhenry) who stated, “We’re happy to see it all come to fruition and proud to have her as a ambassador.” There was nothing but love as everyone conveyed good wishes and praise to Rebecca and her team on this new business venture.
Congratulations, Rebecca, from the Estetica Magazine team!
