Around 60 guests gathered last Thursday evening at Joseph Cozza’s airy second floor space on Maiden Lane (San Francisco, CA) to celebrate the landmark salon’s upcoming charity fashion show on Union Square, “A City in Color”.
Guests were treated to a sneak peak of the May 16th event with a mini fashion show by SF designer J’Amy Tarr who will feature her collection at the live runway show.
Salon partner Blake McCall talked to the crowd about the salon’s philanthropy work with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and how they are raising funds to donate wigs to teens who are undergoing chemotherapy. He also talked about Blue Heart International which he founded with his wife Missy McCall to aid victims of human and sex trafficking. Net proceeds from the May 16 event will go to beauty school scholarships for women coming out of trafficking. Goldwell Hair Care is a sponsor of the event.
