Matt Beck, the owner and founder of the digital educational platform for professionals, FreeSalonEducation.com has partnered with Joico, the hair color and care company focused on bringing the “joi” to hair through their innovations and industry leadership in healthy hair.
The partnership entails use of the brand’s color lines, which include Joico’s LumiShine® Color, Color Intensity, and Vero K-PAK® Color as well as its lightening products such as the wildly successful recent launches, like Blonde Life Lightening Powder and Joico FreePlay Clay Lightener – with more to come!
The relationship with Joico color began a few years ago for Beck. “A few years ago when fantasy colors became really popular the color line we were using didn’t have many options so we brought in Joico Color Intensity. The entire salon was blown away with the results, so we started incorporating more and more Joico Color products in and loving every one of them,” he explains.
As a Digital Brand Educator for Joico, Beck who shares his education curriculums online for free for all professionals and is supported via Facebook, Instagram and the YouTube channel for FreeSalonEducation.com, will incorporate Joico Color and Color Care lines throughout his 2018 curriculums, as of the date of this announcement and into at least first half 2019. Beyond this product collaboration, as a Digital Brand Ambassador-Educator for Joico, the brand will also tap Beck’s prowess as a first-class educator for its own artist/educator teams. Followers will see techniques and curriculums as only Beck and company can create via various 1-minute promos on Instagram, and posts on FreeSalonEducation.com
“The word ‘influencer’ gets easily tossed around lately, but I think no matter how many likes or how big of a following you have, you have influence on someone. To me it’s really important, when educating to use something you fully stand behind and trust. Whenever I choose to represent a company, that company has to align with me as a person. Joico and Free Salon Education have a mission to better the industry through professional education,” says Matt Beck, Founder, Free Salon Education.
