Nebraska for the Win: Overwhelming CHI Love at the 67th Annual Miss USA!

Beauty pageants are having a special moment. With the rise of feminism, the celebration of diversity and the various movements that have spanned from defending women’s rights like #MeToo, this year’s Miss USA pageant had an important role to play when engaging in the conversation of beauty.

This year, 51 accomplished women from around the United States competed for the winning title of the 67th annual Miss USA pageant held at George’s Pond, Hirsch Coliseum in historical Shreveport- Bossier, Louisiana. Miss Nebraska Sarah Rose Summers was crowned as the winner of 2018 and shone beautifully with her crown – and of course, with her flawless golden hair.
