The magic city of Miami was the host of American Crew’s International All-Star Training escape, designed to pass knowledge to all the major brand educators throughout the world on the new men’s grooming trends.
The new American Crew hair trends will be unveiled next month in Barcelona, during the monumental Style Masters Show by Revlon Professional, in front of an international audience made of more than 4,000 hairstyling pros. American Crew Global Artistic Director Paul Wilson said to Estetica: “We’ve got 70s influence, we’ve got 90’s influence, we’ve got some hip hop vibes… so it’s not as specific as it has been in the past. We are really drawing from many different eras but the whole hair story is going to be vast and amazing!”
At the International All-Star Training in Miami there were 38 stylists from around the world who had to practice all of these inspiring looks. Now the brand will select the best to work with the team in American Crew’s main annual event in Barcelona this summer.
“Our global educators had to bring it this week and show that they understood how to finish every cut brilliantly. It was an all-around performance and they did a great job. The best are coming to Barcelona,” said Mike Sharkey, American Crew Director of Global Education. Sharkey opened up the International All-Star Training by showing all educators the video of the Style Masters Show 2017 in Brussels, getting everyone riled up with a reminder of how brilliantly executed the show is.
Another big moment during the International All-Star Training had Phoenix Thomson crowned as American Crew’s All-Star Educator of the Year, celebrating her amazing skills as a men’s hairstylist and her passion for education – don’t miss out the video below!
