The search for the 16 All-Star Challenge Global Finalists is over and we have the results! American Crew’s All-Star Challenge is a unique men’s hairstyling competition in the world, with insurmountable prestige and international acclaim.
The 16 international finalists for the 2017-2018 American Crew All-Star Challenge competition have been announced… and Estetica brings you their looks so you can see first hand the caliber of work that it takes to get to the international finalist round!
This event brings together the best of each country to ultimately create a winning look that not only embodies the brand’s masculine aesthetic, but that also pushes the boundaries beyond today’s current trends.
The All-Star Challenge entrants cut and styled a male model with American Crew products and submitted photos to a judging panel of industry experts who then selected country winners based on technique, styling and their inspiration for a modern, masculine look. The competition combines the key aspects of the art and science in men’s grooming and style –the cut, the model, and the photograph– and brings them all together to deliver the ultimate interpretation of the American Crew man. The top 16 finalists will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the competition finals in Barcelona (Spain), where they will compete to be recognized as the American Crew 2017-2018 All-Star Challenge Global Winner.
The competition final photoshoot will take place in Barcelona on May 31st-June 1st, with the crowning of the 2016-2017 Global Champion taking place on June 4th!
The esteemed global judging panel for the competition will be: Sandra Nygaard, Fashion and Grooming Director, Men’s Health; Sergi Bancells, General Manager USA, Spain and Latin America, ESTETICA MAGAZINE; Adam Mir, 2016-2017 All-Star Challenge Global Champion; Phoenix Thomson, Senior Education Manager, American Crew; and Paul Wilson, Global Artistic Director, American Crew & Co-owner and Creative Director, Art + Science Salon.
