Industry veteran Reuben Carranza has announced his retirement and said goodbye to the brand he took from launch to global scale and profitability in just 4 years, R+Co – owned by Luxury Brand Partners (LBP).
As LBP works a post Oribe design, it made sense for Reuben to transition out of the business – R+Co is growing rapidly and profitably and LBP has a great team in place. He will remain a vested partner with LBP but will not be participating in the day to day management of the business. Reuben shared the news with the whole industry yesterday via Facebook with a sweet message:
“I am excited to share that as of today, April 1, I have retired from LBP and R+Co. I’m proud of the incredible brand that we have built and confident in the strength of the talented team that will continue the momentum. Howard McLaren, Garren and Thom Priano –our Founders,– it’s been an honor to be your business partner and our friendship will continue. I now start my retirement/sabbatical and look forward to the next chapter with gratitude and thanks to my cherished LBP/R+Co family.”
