Clash by David Murray & Ryan Nicoletti-Dowd

Presenting the CLASH COLLECTION, born from a unique collaboration between JOICO European Design Team members David Murray and Ryan Nicoletti-Dowd. The statement looks in the collection combine clashing colors and opposing cutting techniques.

The inspiration for the collection can be traced back to the runway where clashes are a trend that comes and goes but never leaves. David Murray and Ryan Nicoletti-Dowd were inspired by the Spring/Summershows specifically. There Marc Jacobs and Gucci showed what can only be described a fashion riot by letting colors, prints, fabrics and textures clash. Creativity was not bound by limits or rules – also the leading motto behind the CLASH COLLECTION.

David Murray has three Irish Hairdresser of the Year titles among his impressive collection of awards and has also won the prestigious title of ‘Irish Icon Hall of Fame’. Besides working for JOICO he owns a multiple award-winning salon Chameleon in Drogheda, Ireland. Ryan Nicoletti-Dowd also has an an impressing number of awards, among them are British Hairdressing Award’s Southern Hairdresser of the Year, Color Trophy winner and four times British Hairdressing Award finalist. He is the owner and vision director of Wigg in Henley-on-Thames, UK.
