Don’t Miss Out: Super Cool Styles for Valentine’s Day!

Romantic plaits, undone updos and colored hair: three options for that St Valentine’s moment which keep up with the latest trends. Among this year’s proposals for Valentine’s Day, crops are a great classic.

But this year the undone updos are making a comeback, even when they are a little on the shabby side! Super cool is also ultra-coloured hair, ideal for giving a boost of energy to the look. And then, on such a romantic day, we can’t ignore the possible of introducing some gently romantic intertwining!

Romantic Plaited Weaves
Mini Afro-style braids, like those created by Julie Kocanyar of Reverie Salon, but also sumptuous XXL weaves with a dishevelled effect like the one compiled by Bomton Art Team. Trendy, and a little ‘tribal chic’, the braids are embellished with hair piercing – find out more about #HairPiercing  HERE –  as added the look of Benjamin Stalter and Marion Dauch for Coiffeur en France. And why not use the weave on shorter hair? Take a look at Maria-Rosa Salemi’s look.

Undone Updos
Deconstructed and easy to wear they are an interpretion of your personality. The topknot is reinterpreted with a modern touch, such as that of stylist Anna Pavlicová. This isflanked by string braids in XXS format, ascreated by Mary Millsteed). Matteo Susini’s sophisticated look for Loft Parrucchieri combines touches of colour and frisé styling.

Color, Color, Color!
Pastel pink is flanked by daffodil yellow and fresh green strokes. The color is sublimated by styling, primarily using braids. Yellow, white and green create a perfect harmony in Avanti Kapper’s looks. Magic metallic tones of the hairstyle compiled by Toni&Guy. Energy fuelled copper is flanked by rainbow strands by Kirsten and Hakan Alacali for Blu Hairstudio.

And for an alternative Valentine’s Day style, a gritty yet on-trend option is the urban crop: hairstyles that complement sophisticated evening wear, but also a street styl . And for those who still can’t decide? Beach waves are always en-vogue.
