Experimenting with texture on the hair, Brodie-Lee constructs six very unique images that validate her styling expertise: an ethereal braid, a neo-mullet, a a braided pony, a gamine crop an, incredible puff ball of hair and a tightly coiled nouveau curl which gives a totally 21st century slant on wavy hair.
The girls, six modern femmes fatales, feel imperious and yet accessible, sexy but in a totally aloof ‘hands-off’ kind off kind of way. These are the girls who girls want to be and boys want to be with but there is a distinct “you can’t sit with us” vibe emanating: they are cool girls.
In Existential, Brodie shows a commitment to experiment with innovative shape, creating a collection which is still overwhelmingly editorial. This is Vogue Paris: simultaneously utterly modern and completely classic.
