Redken announces four new Brand Ambassadors for 2018. Cassondra Kaeding, Silvia Reis, Cassandra McGlaughlin, and Elizabeth Faye join Redken’s roster of industry notables, furthering the brand’s position in the social and digital space while connecting with the next generation of stars behind the chair.
CASSONDRA KAEDING >>> @CKaedingColor
The Los Angeles-based colorist was recently named “Best Emerging Hair Colorist of 2017” by Mane Addicts, and includes Kate Hudson, Rooney Mara, Olivia Munn, and Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley among her notable client list. In her new role, Kaeding will represent Redken haircolor as well as select haircare, sharing her celebrity formulas and techniques created with Redken on social media, in the press, and at educational events and shows throughout the year.
Originally from Valencia, California, Kaeding now calls the Hollywood Hills home. She can be found working behind the chair at Mare Salon in West Hollywood, as well as Sally Hershberger NYC and Jet setting to Dubai. She entered the hair industry seven years ago in the assisting program at John Frieda before completing her training at Sally Hershberger, both in Los Angeles. Of her new ambassador role with Redken, Kaeding says, “I’m so excited to be a part of the Redken team, not only because I use Redken color, but because I believe in the brand, the products they produce, and their love for this company.” It should come as no surprise that she names Redken Shades EQ as her favorite product from the brand.
With over 26,000 followers on Instagram and a growing list of celebrity clientele, Kaeding accredits her success to never saying no to any job at any time. Since her start, she knew that if she worked hard enough, people would notice her work – and they did! Kaeding says young stylists should keep pushing themselves in their work, while always remembering their worth.
SILVIA REIS >>> @SilviaxReis

Upon graduation, she relocated to San Francisco, where she currently lives and owns her eponymous hair studio. Coming from a family of hairdressers, Reis knew at an early age a career in the hair industry was for her, and was always interested in the ability to transform how someone feels on the inside by working on the outside. She notes Rita Hazan, Ted Gibson, Ken Paves, and fellow Redken Ambassador Tracey Cunningham among her industry idols.
With a large following across several social media channels, Reis initially utilized these platforms to share her work behind the chair and step-by-step tutorials while growing her client list when opening her studio. After consistently posting her followers took note of her talents and she began to receive appointment requests through social media. Today Reis has clients from all over the world who fly in to sit in her chair and was also featured as a contestant on Lifetime network’s “Next Beauty Star”.
