Continuing its mission to transform the rules of beauty, Sebastian Professional is partnering with model and body-love activist, Tess Holliday. Best known for being a pioneer of the body positive movement, empowering people of all shapes and sizes to embrace the body they are in right now.
Sebastian’s collaboration with Holliday marks the launch of the brand’s newest campaign #ShapeYourWorld, connecting creative spirits with Sebastian’s iconic line up of hairsprays designed to enable new possibilities of self-expression.
“I’m thrilled to work with Sebastian Professional,” says Holliday. “I’ve been using Sebastian for years and as a plus size model, I’m delighted they understand the importance of diversity and individuality in the beauty industry, where so often only a certain type of look is celebrated.”
Holliday has been changing the shape of the modeling industry since 2010. Born in Mississippi, the beauty began her career working for independent designers and brands. She soon amassed a massive social media following, cementing her status as a top influencer in the body positivity space. Holliday launched her #effyourbeautystandards campaign in 2013 with the message that beauty comes in diverse sizes and colors and is beyond gender and social class.
To kick off the partnership, Holliday collaborated with Sebastian Professional Top Artist Anthony Cress, to create a fresh go-to holiday style. “Working with Anthony was amazing! He educated me through the entire process, I left feeling empowered and beautiful,” noted Holliday.
As Holliday continues to inspire and empower a new generation to love the skin they are in, Sebastian Professional is searching for the daring individuals who love to try different styles, shape their own look and create the next trend. The Shaper line of moldable, brushable hairsprays is an invitation to those who believe in shaping their identity; You can shape your look, shape your style, shape your experience and even shape your world. From inspiration to transformation, Sebastian is always here to enable new possibilities of self-expression.
