This year when it comes to haircolor, the must-have is mixing: different shades that are combined to create fresh and original trends. We have already seen strawberry blonde, the color that combines blonde and pink, and today we will take a look at blorange.
Blorange, as the word itself indicates, is a blonde mixed and shaded with cool and warm orange highlights: depending on the tone desired, there will be an intense orange pastel or with softer peach-colored highlights. The choice of particular tone of orange depends mainly on the complexion of who wants to flaunt it.
Launched on Instagram by Georgia May Jagger, daughter of The Rolling Stones leader Mick Jagger, blorange was born in London in the hands of Alex Brownsell at his Bleach Salon. The look took hold immediately on social networks: an original shade, a cool touch that enriches one’s look and brightens up the face to highlight features; so it’s perfect for those with a fair skin and eyes, to the point that other stars like Gigi Hadid also adopted it.
Blorange can be obtained on a light base (better if on naturally blonde hair) streaked with bright orange throughout, from mid-lengths or on a few strands, through the Balayage, Ombré, or Tie & Dye techniques. If your client don’t have a light base, you must first decolor dark hair.
Romantic, cool, and chic, blorange is a color that will continue in major vogue thus Winter – below are some Instagram images to inspire you!
