Two days dedicated to hair fashion, inspiration and training by Alter Ego, Italy. Over 400 guests from 15 countries including Spain, Poland, Iceland, Ireland, Romania, as well as Korea and the USA, were welcomed to a venue full of history and charm to preview their new AW 2017-18 Collection: The Neverland.
Launching the event were Nicoletta Peruzzo, Brand Director Alter Ego Italy and Vittorio Masciarelli from Fashion Avenue Academy. “For our Vernissage Colleciton, we chose this ancient monastery as a backdrop, because it represents the true culture and the Italian spirit behind Alter Ego Italy – a brand that today exports to more than 60 countries around the world,” explained Nicoletta. “And why the name Vernissage? Because in French it heralds the new season, a season we inaugurate with our new collection,The Neverland.“
On-stage at the event was Leonardo Rizzo, Creative Director of Sanrizz for Alter Ego Italy, as well as the Akademia Team, which worked backstage. Style & Beauty Image Consultant, Emanuela Mari, who explained inspiration behind the collection said: “Neverland represents a journey to the edge of world, a constant change of scenery and mood, scenario and colour, through glaciers and deserts, forests and moorland. A collection dedicated to authentic women and men who are in synergy with their emotions.”

Imagination: The interpretation of reality through a magic of colors and romantic, essential and even pop looks;
Vision: Fantastic interpretations of the passing of time. A mysterious, nocturnal journey that blends the diversity of cultures.
Explosion: Exploring the monochromatic world of Film Noir by contrasting nuances of hair which blend with unexpected dashes of colour – from vanilla and cream to gold, from pink to violet – for a unique explosion of chromatic touches.
On the international front, Alter Ego Italy inaugurated its new headquarters in Los Angeles in August this year, then in May 2018 the brand will celebrate tits 30th birthday by bringing its partnership customers together on the Mediterranean island of Malta. SAVE THE DATE: 27-30 May 2018!
