During the recent Career Educators Alliance (CEA) Convention, Pivot Point announced its highly anticipated partnership with Prosper U by Eric Fisher. Pivot Point will host Prosper U’s Business Training Program, Drivers of Success, on its digital learning platform, LAB (Learn About Beauty).
Prosper U was created by world-renowned salon and school owner, Eric Fisher of Eric Fisher Salons and Academy, Wichita, KS. The Drivers of Success Business Program provides real-world business skills that help shape students into the type of professionals that owners want to hire.
By designing the program for Pivot Point, the Drivers of Success Business Program has been digitally enhanced for the LAB platform. In 2015, Pivot Point launched LAB to deliver top-notch, globally accepted education that is collaborative, diverse and engaging. LAB combines social interaction, contemporary learning strategies and technology to bring the best to hair and beauty education.
“We are thrilled to partner with Prosper U,” says Jennifer Eckstein, Sr. Director of Global Marketing & Business Development for Pivot Point. “It is our mutual responsibility to empower the next generation of prepared salon professionals. Together, LAB and Prosper U give students the resources to become industry leaders.”
Drivers of Success provides students with real-world knowledge and proven-to-work techniques to ensure a lifelong career. Over the course of the program, students learn how to set goals and track their numbers. The program teaches students how to have successful conversations and consultations with clients while mastering business-building tools including retailing, retention, rebooking and referrals.
By housing Prosper U’s Drivers of Success Business Program on LAB, schools are able to engage students with a variety of learning styles. The program includes courses for cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, nails and massage therapy. Social interaction and learning strategies are all merged with the most current technology to bring beauty business education forward.
“We are so excited about this relationship and are honored to partner with such a legendary company. By coupling the business and soft skills of our Drivers of Success Program with the technical genius of Pivot Point, it provides our students with the ultimate in education. This will allow our students to get and retain great jobs. We look forward to the future growth of Prosper U and will continue adding value to our schools and students in every way possible,” said Founder of Prosper U, Eric Fisher.
With LAB and Prosper U, schools can supply students with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful, self-confident professionals.
