Glamorous and distinguished guests attended Hair Awards 2017 of Estetica Hellas, which took place in Zappeion Hall for second consecutive year. Greek celebrity and internationally renowned actor, Takis Zaharatos was the presenter of the event.
Estetica Hellas’ Publication Director, Frini Latou, welcomed the attendees to the great night of hairdressing art; they included Publisher and Director of EsteticaNetwork, Roberto Pissimiglia, alongside world business legend, the Co-founder and Chief Executive of Paul Mitchell and Patron Spirits, John Paul DeJoria, who was awarded as “Protagonist of the International Economy”.
The event ended on a particularly impressive note, with models from a total of nine hairdressing groups came to the stage, presenting special hair trends, as they have been depicted throughout the 70 years of EsteticaNetwork’s hairdressing history. “These hair awards are the culmination of Estetica Hellas’ 15-year presence supporting the Greek hairdressing industry,” commented Publisher of Estetica Hellas, Vaggelis Papalio.
For the first time this year, awards have been given to a new category, the Best Hair Collection. Christos Michailidis and the team of Loveisinthehair won the gold medal, GINO Hairandmore silver, while the bronze was given to Miro & Miro.
In addition, Honorary Awards were given to Giorgos Bouras of Gino Hairdressers as a recognition for his contribution to hairdressing art, to Zenovia Vassiliadou – Mod’s Hair, for a life dedicated to the beauty of hair, and to Nikos Kourtis, President of the Greek Hairdressers’ Association, as recognition for his contribution to hairdressing art.
