Beauty Businesses Love The Millennium Experience: Absorbing Inspiration for Major Returns!

Whether it is new technology, a simpler workflow, or advice on how to talk to your stylists, there is always something to perfect in the salon business and it all took place last weekend at The Millennium Experience 2017 in steamy Fort Lauderdale!

Attendees learned to speak the language of growth and how transform their business into a cutting-edge and successful salon or spa, and with John Harms at the helm, there is certainty this beauty business event is a literal investment!

The event, which draws hundreds of beauty and wellness professionals, cultivates a unique blend of networking, education, and inspiration to foster business growth. Celebrity stylist and successful salon owner, Martino Cartier rocked the house as host and MC at this year’s Millennium Experience!  Attendees were graced by his electrifying personality.

He kicked off the inspirational hair show, as well as featured keynotes such as Millennium’s CEO John Harms and Paul Mitchell’s Winn Claybaugh. For the first time ever, TME was open to the entire industry. “We’ve always wanted to open up our Millennium Experience to the entire industry and in 2017, we are finally doing it,” said Millennium founder and CEO, John Harms.

The Millennium Experience made it a mission to gather top-tier talent that will nurture the artistic side of the beauty pro as well!

Attendees had the chance to choose from over 50 breakout sessions ranging from social media to client retention; found the opportunity to learn first-hand from top stylists such as Nick Arrojo; and attended a must-see keynote featuring the future of the beauty industry with Millennium CEO, John Harms. Beyond education, attendees also partook in a wild team building workshop and many wonderful networking opportunities.

Woody & Amy Michleb are an outstanding duo of educators, and have a passion for hair and business. They are lead stylists for multiple designers backstage every season at New York & Miami Fashion week, salon owners and artists who travel around the globe inspiring and educating thousands of hairdressers. They built their classes at TME 2017 exclusively for ESTETICA and Millennium partnership for this event. “ESTETICA shares our vision of strong education to make our industry grow, as does Millennium, so this collaboration is very special,” said Woody Michleb.

The talk of the weekend, however, was the launch of Meevo 2.0! This new software comes as a chance to debut the rebuilt version of its cloud-based software, Meevo. John Harms revealed the software with a live demo, showcasing Meevo 2.0’s groundbreaking features and incredible speed with only a WiFi connection. Meevo 2.0 is unlike any software of its kind – stay tuned for more info on this amazing platform!

In addition to the technology, and the selection of talented stylists, a big part of a successful business is the concept of giving back to the community, or even strangers on the streets! In addition to his appearances, Mark Bustos made sure proceeds from the live auction at the event’s Feathers and Fedoras party were part of  #BeAwesometoSomebody movement. As founder of the movement, he has given a new meaning to compassion and giving back by offering free haircuts to the homeless every Sunday.
