Sunlights Balayage, the makers and purveyors of the world’s leading balayage products and education and The Kirschner Group (‘TKG’), the largest and only global sales organization in the professional beauty industry, just announced the formation of their International Alliance effective immediately but set to ‘officially’ kick-off at Cosmoprof North America this summer.
Three-year-old Sunlights, the manufacturer of Sunlights Professional Balayage Lightener® and The Balay Box® is currently distributed in eight countries and on three continents. Sunlights was founded by celebrity hairstylist Candy Shaw, the world’s foremost authority on balayage education and the stylist credited with first starting and now leading today’s Balayage Revolution.
Founded by CEO Harlan Kirschner in 1983, TKG employs a team of highly skilled global business experts who specialize in connecting the best beauty brands in America with the best distributors around the globe. TKG will represent Sunlights internationally, in markets outside of North America. Headed by Paolo Rezzara, Vice President International, TKG’s international division is made up of a sales force of nearly two dozen. Paolo states: “We are really excited to start promoting Sunlights Balayage worldwide. With this new brand we will be able to elevate the hairdresser around the world, offering new and unique tools and awesome education to help them perform better quality work in a more environmentally friendly atmosphere. I am confident Sunlights Balayage will be the ‘hot cake’ for all International distributors visiting the up-coming hair shows of Premiere Orlando (June 4-5) and Cosmoprof Las Vegas (July 9-11).”
Sunlights’ friendship with TKG began in earnest at Cosmoprof N.A. last summer when Sunlights won ‘Beauty Pitch’—‘The Shark Tank of the Professional Beauty Industry’ in the ‘Start-Up’ category sponsored by TKG. As part of its Grand Prize Sunlights received a US $5,000 cash infusion from TKG presented by CEO Harlan Kirschner himself (see above photo).
