In this collection, Davines Artistic Director Angelo Seminara has been inspired by great divas from the art, music and show business worlds of days gone by. Starting with the ‘20s and continuing through the decades up until the ‘80s, Seminara has revealed the secrets of unique and timeless women, discovering that the key to their charm is eternity. Furthermore, keeping things contemporary regardless of the fashion has always been a mantra for Davines, who promote sustainable beauty with timeless charm.
The intense, luminous and vibrant colours of the Star Icon collection were created with new Davines permanent colour formula Mask with Vibrachrom, which creates infinite aesthetic virtuosity with startlingly beautiful results. The colours in this collection also include the new “ash” nuances, the latest answer to the increasing demand for cool and refined tones and reflects. This colour line offers enhanced conditioning and extraordinarily shiny and long-lasting colour, because the pigment penetrates the hair structure more consistently. To maintain colour and shine it is fundamental to use Minu/ Post Colour Treatment, part of the Essential Haircare Minu family for coloured hair, which illuminates and fixes colour, making the hair structure more compact, and increasing shine and colour duration.
The collection was styled with the careful application of More Inside and Your Hair Assistant products, the latter of which, from Angelo Seminara, is ideal for creating state-of-the-art blowdry.
