Asian Splendor: Don’t Miss International Beauty Fair Korea

Record numbers for Int’l Beauty Fair Korea – this is what is expected for the 2017 event, in tandem with the Korea Hair Competition.

After the huge success of the March 2016 fair, can Korea’s Int’l Beauty Salon 2017 in Seoul really hope to get any bigger? The answer is yes and, what’s more, it also promises to be even better! Last year’s edition of Korea’s top international appointment for the hair, beauty and wellness industries enjoyed added benefits from a top simultaneous event, the OMC Hairworld World Cup. Around 35,000 visitors turned up in March 2016 to discover the latest news from 130 professional brands. For 2017, another promising partnership with the Korea Hair Competition is proposed, which will be staged by the Korean Cosmetologists’ Association.

This association has 100,000 members, many of whom will be attending the trade fair alongside the general fair visitors, a guarantee of strong networking possibilities between the various sectors in the hair and beauty industries. The competition will ensure equal emphasis on creative inspiration and education alongside business and commercial opportunities, thus satisfying the needs of all professionals – from salon owners to manufacturers to hairdressers and make-up artists. Companies from all over the world are planning to attend, with an incredible 400 brands from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the USA, Taiwan and Europe all making an appearance. This international presence ensures that visitors will be treated to all the latest innovations in terms of products, technologies and trends.

Save the date!
Some technical details have been changed this year, including the date and venue. The 2017 Int’l Beauty Fair Korea is scheduled to take place from 29th to 31st August at the COEX exhibition and congress centre. This new trade fair location offers almost 8,000 square metres of floorspace for stands and displays, an area which can accommodate the growing number of exhibitors and visitors that this professional event now commands.

The combination of trade fair and the Korea Hair competition will mean there is a particularly strong emphasis on the hair industry, but other professional sectors can look forward to their own dedicated areas in terms of stands and displays… wellness and spa, nail art, make-up and packaging and distribution are all vital areas of the hair and beauty industry, and will receive the same attention.
