Don’t Miss Out: Estetica’s 70th Anniversary Gallery at America’s Beauty Show!

ESTETICA is the Hair Magazine that resides in the hearts of thousands of stylists around the world. Because of this, America’s Beauty Show 2017 in Chicago visitors will witness a very special opportunity to enjoy our not-to-be-missed historical photo gallery!

This stunning image selection is a black and white tribute and timeline depicting some of the most beautiful hair images from 1946 to 2016 and now is your chance to take a selfie with this gorgeous exhibition.

Dating from 1946 to the present day, this unique selection of historic hairdressing images from the ESTETICA archives, will be showcased at a beautiful Art Exhibition in the entrance of America’s Beauty Show.

The gallery derived from our brand new ‘ArtBook 70 years – The Ultimate Collection’. From both a creative and an historical perspective, there will be great interest in an exhibition of the best looks from the past 70 years of Estetica Magazine. These images, selected from the many thousands stored in the ESTETICA central archives in Torino (Italy), represent a unique, unmissable insight into the heritage of our industry.

To bring the story right up-to-date, visitors can take the opportunity to use their state-of-the-art smart phones to share a selfie-moment with the beauties from a bygone era!

Many of the younger hairdressers and industry guests who visit the gallery throughout the trade fair will be especially mesmerized by the beauty and stunning reproduction of the earlier hair fashion plates, many of which were photographed long before they were even born. For those whose memories stretch back that bit further, they evoke a recollection and nostalgia for styles which, although created decades ago, have continued to enjoy a resurgence right up to the present day.

The story of Estetica began in March, 1946…

It was 1946 when Mino Pissimiglia founded the magazine ESTETICA, in Turin (Italy). These few beautiful pages soon became the most respected magazine in the Italian hairdressing industry, later conquering worldwide markets too. In 1958, the magazine arrived in Japan, in 1962-63 it reached Peru, Latin America and the Middle East, and in 1977 the international Italian/English version was launched..

In March 1991, the EsteticaNetwork project with local editions was announced: it began in the biggest European countries before extending to the U.S. and Asia. Produced in 22 versions, Estetica is now present in more than 60 countries with a circulation of 300,000 copies per issue.
