Last year’s event saw a celebrated US Gold win for Daniel Rubin from Chicago, Illinois, who took home the top prize in the coveted Partner category. “Color Zoom is the best thing that’s ever happened to my career,” Rubin says, “Not just because I won, but also because it helped shape my skills and push my abilities.” Australian stylist Larissa Bresnehan was awarded the top honor in the Creative category, while Sargis Airapetian from Russia earned the top prize in the New Talent category.
Rubin also won the Gold Stylists’ Favorite Award, together with Colette Jones from Okanogan, Washington (Creative category) and Liss Dragos from Romania (New Talent category). Determined by a worldwide vote, the special feature of this award is that anyone, anywhere in the world, is able to participate via an online platform and choose their favorite entry in each category, from all of the National Gold Winners.
