From November 14–16, 2016, CND hosted its inaugural VIP Brand Summit in New York City with a select group of renowned Nail Pros.
These industry influencers gathered for three days of education and celebration, led by CND Co-founder & Style Director Jan Arnold and CND Education Manager Roxanne Valinoti, in support of the brand’s ongoing commitment to advancing the state of the industry.
The event began at The Neue Galerie with a private tour of the art exhibition, Klimt and the Women of Vienna’s Golden Age. The vision and history behind Gustav Klimt’s portraits of society women in Vienna served as inspiration for the “VIP Design Lab Challenge.” In teams of two, the VIP guests created nail designs that channeled elements of the paintings reinterpreted to reflect their combined artistic style. The exercise resulted in new thinking, innovative techniques and brilliant artistry!
CND Education Ambassadors shared tips and tricks for using a variety of CND® systems, including SHELLAC® Brand 14+ Day Nail Color, VINYLUX® Weekly Polish, CND® CREATIVE PLAY™ Nail Lacquer, BRISA® Gel and RETENTION+® Liquid & Power. The diverse group of artists were encouraged to work together, play together and learn together to elevate the professional nail community.
The CND VIP Brand Summit attracted an impressive roster of the best-of-the-best in the industry, from reality television stars to distinguished salon and business owners.
