Meet the Best Salons of 2016: From Claque La Mouche de Paris to Moss Salon

The winner of the Best Salon Award 2016 –L’Appartement by Christophe Nicolas Biot– was proclaimed in Paris during MCB by Beauté Sélection. Estetica proposes now a round-up of the salons that made it to the global finals.

A showcase of the best in contemporary salon design on an international level. The award promoted by EsteticaDesign and MCB by Beauté Selection was launched three years ago in order to highlight the best hairdressing salons of the world.

The winner of this year’s edition Christophe Nicolas Biot was selected from among another 9 salons that also demonstrate aspects of great interest. Let’s take a look…

Here’s the second round-up of finalists:

Claque La Mouche – Sweden
The salon you would never expect. Brimming with “out-of -the-box” details, this salon in Stockholm proposes a relaxed, hipster image where comfort and good taste go hand in hand.

Ebil Hair – Turkey
Rational, hi-tech space, yet warm and welcoming. This salon in Istanbul makes light and reflections its strongpoint, combining the warmth of wood with informal and comfy furnishing.

Factory [236] – Spain
Wood and a minimalist mood for this salon in Barcelona. Pure white as a background for the technical outfitting combined with objects that spur curiosity and evoke emotions: suitcases, empty frames, and trunks.

Kap Salon – Belgium
Optical protagonist. In the Genk salon the geometric contrasts alternate with the light of metal and the warmth of wood for a rich and contemporary end result.

Moss Salon – Poland
A green corner brimming with style in Krakow. Full colours, sinuous forms, and inviting spaces are the winning elements of this Polish salon.
