When a country has truly excellent products, they cannot and should not keep them hidden away from the rest of the world. This is why the Taiwan Excellence Product Showcase travels the world, revealing must-have cutting-edge items to new audiences overseas.
This year, from 22nd to 25th of September, the chosen location was New York and in this period professionals flocked to the Time Warner Center in Manhattan to discover fifty technologically advanced items set to change our lives in terms of smart accessories, transportation, sustainability and more. Simply being part of this annual event is a huge honor – the initiative is supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
As an industry leader, Taiwan’s Shaan Honq Group were present at the event, represented by Nicholas J. Domena (Director of Education for Welljoy USA and International Educator for Shaan Honq). He was there to introduce SH-RD Protein Cream to the US market, one of the group’s most innovative products, which was met with much interest by the attendees. Nicholas explained the properties in detail to visitors, and also distributed leave-in samples of the cream to be tried at home. And the gifts did not stop there – the visitors also had the chance to win a SH-RD shampoo, conditioner and protein cream pack in the Wheel of Fortune game held during the event.
The level of interest displayed in the Protein Cream over the three-day period proved firstly how the Taiwan brand is recognized as a major player in the global beauty industry, but also how Taiwan innovation is respected worldwide. Thus, Shaan Honq’s participation in the Excellence Product Showcase was beneficial to the group and also a contribution to the national reputation.
