Thousands of salon professionals from North America, Asia and the UK gathered in San Diego, CA on October 16 and 17 for the 2016 Eufora International Global Connection.
A team of talented Eufora stylists and educators inspired attendees with motivational presentations and technical breakout sessions emphasizing “Beauty in Motion” the theme of the event, which focused on embracing change and becoming a positive contributor to moving the industry forward. Keynote speaker Christine Cashen, presented a humor filled program that encouraged listeners to commit to their own personal growth.
The first runway show opened with a tribute to the late Don Bewley, co-founder of Eufora, and featured some of his most memorable moments including favorite hair styles and makeovers through the decades. Four additional high energy runway shows were presented by Eufora Global Trainers, including Team UK, Team Japan and the Eufora HERO for Men Team, who launched a brand new look for the award winning men’s grooming line.
The highlight of the event was a passionately produced runway show presented by Creative Director Philip Carreon. Entitled Beauty in Motion – the Final Chapter, the show opened the Stylist of the Year Awards Gala, and the audience was treated not only to awe inspiring hair and visuals but also to a live performance by Cassandra Church, who wrote and performed the theme song for Beauty in Motion, Alchemy.
