The ExCel exhibition centre in London’s Docklands was the destination for thousands of hairdressers from all over the world last weekend, who united for the biggest and best hairdressing event the UK industry has to offer: Salon International 2016!
This year saw Salon International host six live stages within the exhibition arena, with highlights including presentations from some of the industry’s best creative teams. The ever-popular Fellowship for British Hairdressing stage was also alive with talent, with presentations from their hugely talented F.A.M.E. Team, ClubStar, Colour Project and Project X, as well as shows from many of The Fellowship’s most renowned artistic teams.
The Legends Lounge, a new addition for 2016, was a huge hit with visitors from both the UK and abroad, with famous names such as Patrick Cameron, Anthony Mascolo and Annie Humphreys sharing their incredible career stories. The Hair Health Stage and Business Bubble, also new to the exhibition this year, offered hair and scalp care presentations and business workshops on some of the most important and discussed industry topics.
Salon International also saw hundreds of top salon brands exhibiting their hero products and new launches, as well as exciting live competitions. Other highlights included Mahogany’s inspirational education seminars, the first-ever National Trichology Conference and a purpose-built auditorium for Salon Live – hosting one-off ticketed shows by Sassoon Academy, Patrick Cameron, Rush and Toni&Guy.
