“Milan? A Cosmo-city, crossroads of innovative ideas.” This is what Salvo Filetti has to say at just one month from his participation in Estetica Master Parade, to take place in Milan next October 23rd.
In anticipation of Compagnia della Bellezza Creative Director Salvo Filetti’s performance on the Estetica Master Parade stage next October 23rd during On Hair Milan Edition by Cosmoprof, we met with him to discover more about his relationship with Milan, on the fashion runways, and on Estetica celebrating 70 years of history.
What is your relationship with Milan and with Italian fashion?
“Milan is my “Cosmo-city”. Indeed, my Milanese home consolidates my enthusiasm for the present, for the past, and for the future that I want to build. Its doors are open, a crossroads of visionary friends with whom we imagine and look at new design and fashion, expressions of that Italian essence that makes me proud, the perfect fusion of elegance and sensuality through innovation.”
Your favourite fashion designer?
“Today I am interested in keeping an eye on Alessandro Michele, his imperfection made of knowledge, his knack for quickly grasping change by constructing an iconic fashion image fresh off the streets in very little time.“
Your thoughts about Estetica and our first 70 years…
“It is the most authoritative magazine, the Vogue of coiffure. When I was young it was almost “a bible”, my desire to be in the midst of all that, and nothing happens if you haven’t dreamt it first… So today I expect a “monographic” issue 😉“
