March to the Beat of Your Own Drum: Introducing the NEW Redken City Beats

Meet the NEW Redken City Beats12 vibrant color shades plus Clear and a Color Remover inspired by the energy and edge of New York City to unleash your creativity.

From the streets to the masses, vibrant haircolor is everywhere, with clients flocking to the salon chair to rock bold looks adopted by celebrities and seen across numerous editorial spreads. Now give your clients the vibrant colors they crave with NEW Redken City Beats, a conditioning color cream collection designed to create the edgiest looks for the ultimate in color expression. Twelve intense shades of City Beats allow clients to feel the energy and hear the beat of the city streets while blazing their own creative path.

The City Beats collection consists of twelve intermixable, stay-true hues, plus clear. Redken salon professionals are now able to create an endless palette of creative colors that range from bold to pastel hues. City Beats is an easy-to-use acidic cream formula that conditions and seals the hair cuticle for lasting vibrant color and healthy-looking hair. Adding a new semi-permanent color category to Redken’s existing haircolor portfolio, the formula is no mess, no bleed and remains true-to-tone for up to 12 shampoos with no developer required.

City Beats can be applied to both natural and previously colored hair, with the understanding that the lighter the starting level, the brighter the end result will be. To optimize a City Beats color service for uneven bases, colorists may start by applying Redken Pre-Art Treatment or Shades EQ Gloss to balance clients’ starting color. The Color Remover is the perfect component to remove a light tint dark spots unwanted tones during a color service, or to remove unwanted hues currently in hair prior to a fresh City Beats color application. Just mix with deionized water and apply! Also included in the City Beats color offering is clear, allowing the stylist unlimited color mixing possibilities.

Each vibrant shade of City Beats has its own story and namesake inspired by the edge and energy of New York City’s iconic landmarks and trendiest neighborhoods:
