For Rodarte’s SS17 collection, the models strutted down the runway through a whimsical floral-infused stage wearing a breathtaking array of embellished and embroidered designs composed of silks, sequins, chiffons and crystals that complimented their fresh, dewy faces.
The beauty inspiration was about capturing each of the model’s youthful spirit by creating a natural glow that highlighted their radiance. To bring this to life, lead stylist Odile Gilbert for Wella Professionals designed custom hair accessories using leftover fabric from the garments in the collection and placed throughout the back of the head to be perfectly disheveled. The hair itself was simple, touting a natural texture as to not disrupt the original movement of the hair.
