By now you should have the dates firmly written in your diaries – if you haven’t it’s the long weekend of October 15-17, 2016: Salon International weekend!
The UK’s premier trade event for all things hair, this year will include a number of exciting new initiatives including The Business Bubble, National Trichology Conference and Hair Health Village, as well as some exciting new additions by hosts HJ, who for the first time will be presenting a stage dedicated entirely to Men’s Hair and also a Legends Lounge, where visitors will be able to experience live interviews with some of hairdressing’s most revered and enduring icons, giving participants a fascinating insight into their lives and careers as top hair ambassadors.
NEW INITIATIVES FOR SALON 2016
While the creative aspects of our industry have always dominated Salon International from a visual perpective, it’s importance as an environment in which to meet and do business is equally as significant. In recognition of this fact, The Business Bubble will offer visitors informal sessions from our industry’s leading authorities, giving salon owners and managers valuable insights into how to improve their bottom line and grow their entreprenureal potential.
Also new for 2016 will be the Hair Health Village, a zone dedicated entirely to the subject of hair and scalp care. The zone will incorporate a specially dedicated education stage and all the exhibitors in the zone will have a specific relevance to hair and scalp care. The Hair Health Village is being launched this year to complement another industry event – National Trichology Congress, which will run alongside Salon International.
INSPIRATIONAL EDUCATION
With education ever-more a focal point at Salon International, for 2016 the hugely popular Salon Live theatre will be moving to ExCeL’s ICC Auditorium, situated directly alongside the exhibition halls. This purpose-built arena will be where leading educators will showcase their latest collections and trend predictions for the coming season. Salon International 2016 looks set to be a stellar event with exhibitors including Denman, Fudge, Sassoon Academy and Wahl joining the largest line-up of companies for many years.
