Creativity, passion, and talent – Industry icon Angelo Seminara will star in Estetica Master Parade next October 23rd in Milan!
Giselle Bundchen, Erin O’Connor, and Barbara Bach, as well as Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Patrow and Eva Herzigova are just some of the celebrities for whom Angelo Seminara has created hairlooks. In addition to his A-List of clients, Angelo Seminara is the Artistic Director for the innovative Italian brand Davines.
Three time winner of the British Hairdresser of the Year Award (2007, 2010 & 2012) and twice winner of the AIPP Grand Trophy (2012 and 2016), Angelo is an icon for hairdressing professionals, photographers, stylist, and models all over the world.
The beginnings
At age 11 he had already found an apprenticeship with a barber in his hometown in southern Italy. After working for Toni&Guy in Rome, he moved to London, where soon he joined the Trevor Sorbie team, eventually becoming the International Creative Director.
Since 2011, his position as Artistic Director of Davines has lead him to try his hand in the field of research: the invention of a new innovative coloring technique, Flamboyage (2012), and the launch of a range of Davines products dedicated to the ritual of hairstyling, Your Hair Assistant (2016).

Esteemed for his imagination, technical abilities, and creativity, Seminara’s work challenges all canons. His approach is that of an artist, designer, or visionary who translates his reflections on the world into incredibly original shapes and colours.
An enthusiastic photographer and collector of art and design books, Seminara’s work is always linked to the field of culture and arts, where he draws infinite inspiration. Since 2010, he has been working in close contact with fashion curator Judith Clark, creating innovative hairstyles for some shows, Chloe Attitudes at the Palais de Tokyo, Diana Vreeland retrospective at the Museo Fortuny in Venice, Simone Handbag Museum in Seoul, Dresses of Frida Kahlo, in Messino and Louis Vuitton’s La Galerie in Asnières in France.
Fashion Genius
Angelo has quickly earned a great reputation in the field of fashion, working for prestigious brands of the Paris, New York, London and Milan runways, including Chanel, Valentino, Hermès, Stella McCartney, Dolce&Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, and Vivienne Westwood.
Vanity Fair, Vogue Italia, Vogue France, and The Sunday Times are just some of the publications with which he has collaborated.
