The ‘Historias’ hair & fashion show is the beautiful juncture between the world of hairdressing and the world of immigration and labor center in Denver, Colorado, where a fashion show is going to highlight the Centro Humanitario para los Trabajadores, Denver’s only day laborer center.
When acclaimed hairstylist Charlie Price is one of the board members of said organization, it is evident that a hair and fashion show like ‘Historias’ is bound to become one of the main fundraising events. El Centro promotes work aimed at the rights and well-being of day laborers and domestic workers in Colorado through education, job skills, leadership development, united action and advocacy.
El Centro’s funds are dedicated to the continued efforts that have played a crucial role in promoting awareness and advancing reforms since 1988. The group address everyday struggles and hardships, as well as structural barriers, surrounding this underrepresented and often invisible, community.
With a hair industry maven like Charlie Price backing such an incredible cause, there will be more do-gooder’s in the industry like George Alderete, and the Beauty Underground that also want to be a part of the cause. To top it off, during the event, Price will be honoring hair industry legend, Sam Villa.
If you are in Colorado, this is one of the events that you cannot miss, because Everyone Deserves The Right To Live With Dignity and you can help that cause by supporting your own love for fashion and art.
The Top Salon Segments will be from the following lists of contributing salons from El Salon, Berenices, Mode, Artemis & Birch, The Look, Beto’s, Ted Medina, and Planet Laboratories.
