An astonishing record of 4,400 stylists from 60 countries from all over the world came together last night for an unforgettable evening in Paris to attend Revlon Professional’s Style Masters Show 2016.
The City of Light was the venue that hosted the 8th edition of this magnificent show and international contest, demonstrating once again that salon professionals cannot afford to miss this prestigious event of undeniable impact on the international hairdressing scene. These 4,400 worldwide stylists brought their creativity, passion, and skills to Paris!
Once again, Revlon Professional’s annual global competition – The Style Master 2016 International Contest recognized the talent of the best hair stylists during an incredible gala conducted by Miquel Garcia Cotado, Vice President, Global Creative and Artistic Director for Revlon. This amazing hair competition remains true to its philosophy: to support hairstylist as an artist and offer all hairdressers an opportunity to make their most creative work visible. The 9 international finalists displayed their skills on the catwalk and at the end of the show, the coveted Global Winner Award was conquered by acclaimed British hairstylist Anne Veck! The other awards of the night went to Pierre Ginsburg (France), Young Talent Award; Daniel Tobiasen (Denmark), Best Technique Winner; and Oksana Sharafutdinova (Russia), Creativity Award.
Miquel Garcia Cotado also served as emcee of the evening, presenting the beautiful Revlon Professional SS2016 Collection: Malibu, together with the Shape-a-Porter presentation, Games of Revlon extravaganza –taking inspiration from ‘Game of Thrones’– and the forthcoming Revlon Professional FW2016 Collection: Party.
American Crew, in turn, earned a standing ovation with a performance featuring the global presentation of its outstanding ELVIS campaign, with one of the biggest idols in the world’s culture, music and especially in men’s grooming, Elvis Presley! The media attending the show was able to meet all finalists and winners at backstage and celebrate their success. A friendly party was the end of the gala and everybody was in good spirits to share such an extraordinary event with colleagues from over 60 countries!
