Beauty Changes Lives at ABS Chicago – Lynelle Lynch is Ready to Paint the Town!

Beauty Changes Lives Foundation’s Legacy Experience is an event taking place as a very timely centerpiece of America’s Beauty Show on March 12, honoring the future of hairdressing trends while taking the idea and concept of scholarship and education through the pioneering Lynelle Lynch.

This industry icon has taken education and beauty by the reigns and transformed it into one of the hottest parties and celebrations at America’s Beauty Show. She is the creator for the Foundation and host of BEST Industry party of the year with expressions of creativity that are as diverse as the people and brands working in this amazing industry.

The BCL Foundation has united the Industry to pay forward and mentor the next generation,” says Lynelle. “Combining the BCL Legacy award and event with ABS provides the platform to engage professionals at the Industry’s largest show. We are honored to have ABS and Cosmetologists Chicago as our premier partner, embracing BCL as their chosen charitable cause.”

It is an event that cannot be missed if you are in Chi-town. You will get to enjoy the runway presentation, mingle on the red carpet, check out the swag bag valued at more than $100 and then dance to one of Chicago’s best DJs until midnight!

Preceding the “Shout Your Beauty” presentation will be an elegant dinner paying tribute to Dr. Howard Murad, the 2016 Legacy award recipient. Dr. Murad was an early and ardent supporter of Beauty Changes Lives and its mission to elevate perceptions of careers in beauty and wellness.

The Murad brand has facilitated Beauty Changes Lives mentoring experiences, launched the first scholarship exclusively for esthetics students and even created a limited edition Live Beautiful retail product to support Beauty Changes Lives,” Lynelle tells us.

Global Beauty – Transformation and Fearless are a few themes that will be celebrated on the runway afterwards. While many of the mentors to the NEXTGEN are well known in our Industry the NEXTGEN represents the future of our profession and they will be the highlight of the SHOUT YOUR BEAUTY! presentation.  The defining theme for this year’s show is “SHOUT” so be prepared for bold, socially-conscious statements from this new face of beauty on the runway!

BCL has inspired brands to pay forward their success through mentoring the next generation,” says Lynelle. “Freedom of expression, interpreted by diverse artists and brands, is a key part of the message that will resonate at the BCL Experience. Young people have grown up with social media and the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas across a variety of platforms.”

And while it’s nice to have a moment in the spotlight at the amazing venue that is ABS, the Foundation and it’s team also savor the day-to-day rewards of helping future beauty and wellness professionals achieve their dreams.

Just this week, we received a note from a winner of the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Competition sponsored by Wella’s Hairdressers at Heart,” says Lynelle “The scholarship helped launch her career and now she’s paying her success forward by frequently speaking with beauty school students about the opportunities available in the industry.”

There is a tremendous appetite for information that is shared virally in real-time. One of the great things about the Beauty Changes Lives Experience is the ability to SHOUT YOUR BEAUTY! with the #SHOUTYOURBEAUTY and #BEAUTYCHANGESLIVES hashtags. Pivot Point International is donating $1 up to $10,000 for every selfie posted to Instagram with these hashtags so make sure you don’t miss out on your selfies!
